Ali MacGraw, also known as Elizabeth Alice MacGraw, is an American designer and author who has received numerous awards for her works. She is a proponent of the rights of animals. Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus '69 and The Getaway 72 are among her most famous movies. The Getaway was released in 1972. New York, she was born and raised into an artistic family. In the beginning, she worked as a assistant to photographers. In the future she shifted her focus into directing and modeling. In her first two films her name was acknowledged and won an award called the Golden Globe Award as Most promising young actress. MacGraw became an international star after her 1970 movie Love Story, which earned an Academy Award nomination as well as an award from the Golden Globe. Within three years she was named the most popular female box-office participant in the entire world. Her footprints from 1972 as well as autograph was engraved on the wall of Grauman's Chinese Theater. She also appeared in The Getaway Convoy Players TV Miniseries The Winds of War, and other films.
