Ina-Garten

Ina Garten has been an acclaimed American cookbook author for a number of years. Ina is also the Emmy-winning host of Food Networks longest running show Barefoot Contessa that began in 2002. Ina began to write Nuclear energy and policy documents for the White House. While she initially found the work fascinating, eventually she lost interest. So she purchased a Barefoot Contessa a small speciality food retailer. She spent eighteen years making the store extremely successful before selling it off and grabbing a pen to begin writing her first book. The cookbooks were followed by many more and magazine columnists that came later. In the meantime she also had her own Food Network show was also an enormous success. Her range of items spans from cooking equipment, to food items as well as storage containers. Ina did not go to a cookery school nor worked at a restaurant. She is entirely self-taught. She is well-known for her unpretentious style of entertainment as well as her simple cooking. The most well-known recipes she has created are Lemon chicken skeillet-roasted, Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac & Cheese Beef Bouguignon and the Balsamic Roasted Brussels Sprouts & Lemon Bars.
