Luciana Paoluzzi grew up living in Rome along with her family. Luciana Paoluzzi's father is an Italian Army officer, and Maria Rota Paoluzzi's mother is the former lover of Benito Mussolini. Her siblings are unknown. Luciana was a student at a local high school prior to matriculating at the Scientific Academy of Milan in 1955. Luciana was one of only two women in her class. She began her modeling career after two years. Then, it transformed when she was offered her first acting role by accident while visiting her father's Rome acquaintance. The role was a two-line part in Three Coins in the Fountain. Her first marriage was with Brett Halsey who is also an actor. After the wedding in 1960 they produced a film together named Return to the Peyton Palace. Luciana got custody when the couple split a few years after Charles became a baby. Luciana enjoyed a lengthy relationship with Tony Athony. He was an actor and film producer. Tony was influenced by the character of Luciana in Green Slime to create the Spaghetti Western.
