Hayley is an American performer and actress. Her most well-known role is Erica Goldberg from the TV comedy series "The Goldbergs". She is to be primarily an artist. Music is her first love she maintains; it is something she's dabbled into when she was just nine years old. At the age 12 she was taking serious enough about music to start studying professionally. When she was 13 She began to write her own songs. The first album she released as a cover wasn't released until 14 years later. From that moment on she's never looked back. Orrantia was born in America, has Hispanic roots. She has Hispanic roots even though she only spoke English when she was a kid and spent her entire life in America. She tries to maintain it through studying Spanish as well as writing songs using the Spanish language. "Hasta Verte," which she composed in Spanish is one such attempt. Orrantia auditioned for The X Factor in 2011. Orrantia took home the very first season of The X-Factor after she submitted a YouTube recording of her audition. The judge gave her four "yes" votes by the judge on the live stage audition in Seattle. Her initial audition was a solo performer, but in the course of "Hollywood Week", three other female performers were placed in an ensemble to go through the auditions. They were eventually eliminated at the conclusion of the fifth performance.
